GGPoker high roller events produce big online poker winners_1
Online poker provider GGPoker is known for its big poker events, including high roller action. The site just recently finished up its $25,500 Super High Roller and the $1,050 High Roller, giving Guillaume Nolet and Marco Fontanella nice six-figure prizes for taking down the events. The High Roller events are always busy, as players try to land one of the large prizes by making it to the final table the finish in the money. Check out the details of both tournaments below.
$1,050 Sunday High Roller Main Event Details
Let’s start with the smaller buy-in event at GGPoker. This tournament had over 700 players competing which pushed the $600,000 prize pool guarantee over the $700,000 mark. After defeating the field, Marco Fontanella was able to earn just over $110,000 for his efforts.
Each of the nine final table members would earn a payout and once the event was down to two, it was Fontanella taking on Andriy Lyubovetskiy for the win. It would take some time, but Fontanella was able to earn the final hand to secure the victory.

$25,500 Super High Roller Event Details
For the next online poker event, a total of 33 players paid $25,500 to compete in the Super High Roller event. This created a prize pool of $825,000. Only the top four players would be paid, so it was a stiff competition until the very end.
The final four included Conor Beresford, who finished fourth, earning just over $126,000. David Miscikowski finished in third, taking home $168,845 for his efforts. Adrian Mateos would take on Guillaume Nolet in heads-up play with the two players deciding to cut a deal.
Once the deal was struck, Nolet was able to take down the title, leaving Mateos in second place to earn $266,711. Mateos took the higher prize money due to the deal, with Nolet earning the win, but less at $258,701.
WSOP Spring Circuit 2022
The high roller events took place at GGPoker as the site is offering players a chance to compete for WSOP gold. The online poker room is working with WSOP to offer gaming through April 17, with 18 WSOP gold rings up for grabs.
The schedule is full of events with $100,000,000 in total prize money up for grabs. This week, the series will see the $800 6-Max NLH Championship begin along with the $105 Double Stack Bounty NLH tournament. The Main Event is the last tournament on the schedule kicking off on April 17 with a $525 buy-in and $5 million prize pool.
